Mustang
Mustang is one of the fastest growing suburbs in Great Oklahoma City. It is located West of Oklahoma City and South of I-40. Although the city of Mustang itself is small with around 14,000 citizens, what is considered the Mustang area including what the school system extends to would triple the population. Because of the availability of developed land, Mustang along with its sister to the North Yukon, have had more building permits issued for new construction than any other area of Greater Oklahoma City.
In recent years, Mustang has created amenities of its citizens to go along with the growth. New swimming pools, parks, recreational facilities, and sports complexes have been built to give the people of Mustang the outside of work pleasures that all of us want. Being a commuter feeder city to Oklahoma City, Mustang, because of I-40 has a 20 minute drive time to downtown Oklahoma City. It also has state highway 152 to the South which connects directly to Will Rogers World Airport, the FAA Aeronautical Center which is the largest in the country, and Dell Computers.
